WeSMA Onam 2023

It was a wonderful time at the Onam 2023 celebration at the Rudgum Function Centre on 26/08/2023! The dance performances, music, and entertainment were all so joyful and really embraced the spirit of Onam. Loved seeing the talented performers showcase various dance forms, including തിരുവാതിരകളി, which really transported me to the cultural heritage of Kerala. The range of programs offered something for everyone, from upbeat music to soulful melodies sung by talented singers. It was truly a perfect opportunity to create cherished memories.

വെസ്റ്റേൺ സിഡ്നി മലയാളി അസോസിയേഷന്റെ നേതൃത്തത്തിൽ അതി ഗംഭീരമായ ഓണാഘോഷം Redgum Function Centre ൽ വച്ച് ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 31 ന് നു നടന്നു .Cumberland City Councillor Ms Lisa Lake ചടങ്ങിന്റെ ഉത്ഘാടന കർമ്മ നിർവഹിച്ചു. സിഡ്‌നിയുടെ നാനാഭാഗത്തു നിന്നും അണിനിരന്ന 500 ൽ ഏറെ പേർ ചേർന്ന് ഓണക്കളികളും അനവധി കലാപരിപാടികളും ഒക്കെ ആയി ഈ ഓണസന്ധ്യ ഏറെ നിറപ്പകിട്ടാർന്നതാക്കി തീർത്തു.

ഓണാഘോഷത്തിന് മാറ്റു കൂട്ടാൻ , ഭാരത നാട്യം, അർദ്ധ ശാസ്ത്രീയ നൃത്തങ്ങൾ, സിനിമാറ്റിക് ഡാൻസ്, ഗാനാലാപനങ്ങൾ, 3 ലഘു നാടകങ്ങൾ, ഗാനമേള, Ramp Dance Show മുതലായ വ്യത്യസ്തമാർന്ന നിരവധി കലാപരിപാടികൾ വേദിയിൽ അരങ്ങേറുകയുണ്ടായി. പ്രായഭേദമന്യേ മുതിർന്നവരും കുട്ടികളും ഒരുമിച്ചാർപ്പു വിളിച്ചു മാവേലി തമ്പുരാനെ വരവേറ്റു. ഗൃഹാതുരത്വമുണർത്തുന്ന സ്വാദിഷ്ടമായ ഓണസദ്യയോടെ WESMA ഓണം 2019 പരിപൂർണമായി.
